Pomele Bubinga
This writing instrument is constructed using wood from the tree Guibourtia teesmannia and is commonly called Bubinga. This tree is native to the northwest coast of Africa and trees reach as high as 150 feet tall and grow as wide as 6 feet. The Pomele figure, quilted or wavy, used here is especially prized for its unique appearance.
