Redwood Burl
This writing instrument is constructed using wood from the tree Sequoia sempervirens and is commonly called Redwood. Native to Northern California and Oregon, the Redwood is the tallest tree in the world and they have been known to live over 2000 years. The burl form used here is highly prized for its beautiful color and figure.
